Ingredients
750gr white fish (we use Basa Fillets)
½ Cup Plain flour
1/2 Cup Rice Milk (see note)
1 ½ Cups Breadcrumbs
Wholegrain Wraps
Grated Cheese
Grated Carrot
Iceberg lettuce sliced
Tomatoes sliced
Method
Preheat oven to 180c
Slice fish into small pieces (around the size/shape of a chicken tender)
Dust fillets in flour
Dip into Milk
Cover in breadcrumbs
Repeat with remaining fish pieces – (You can double crumb if desired)
Bake fish pieces in oven for around 15mins (oven times may vary)
Meanwhile grate cheese & carrot, slice tomato and lettuce and put on a plate so each child can choose their own salad.
Heat wraps in microwave according to packet instructions
Serve on a platter – fish, wraps and salad and then each child can assemble their own wrap.
** Note: This recipe has been adapted to accommodate children with allergies. You can use cows milk mixed with egg before crumbing if desired**
