In November 2021 work commenced to upgrade the outdoor play areas and the top yard at Malangenna. This involved demolition of the whole outdoor undercover area across all three rooms. It was fun for the children to watch the ‘work in progress’ each day, especially watching the diggers. Both children and staff did a great job with only being able to use the bottom playground while work was being done, taking turns and even having to access the bottom yard via a different route. As you can see from the before and after photos, lots of hard work has gone into this and Malangenna children are loving their new play areas. There are still a few things to finish off and these should be completed in the near future.
