Fish Wraps


750gr white fish (we use Basa Fillets)

½ Cup Plain flour

1/2 Cup Rice Milk (see note)

1 ½ Cups Breadcrumbs

Wholegrain Wraps

Grated Cheese

Grated Carrot

Iceberg lettuce sliced

Tomatoes sliced


  1. Preheat oven to 180c

  2. Slice fish into small pieces (around the size/shape of a chicken tender)

  3. Dust fillets in flour

  4. Dip into Milk

  5. Cover in breadcrumbs

  6. Repeat with remaining fish pieces – (You can double crumb if desired)

  7. Bake fish pieces in oven for around 15mins (oven times may vary)

  8. Meanwhile grate cheese & carrot, slice tomato and lettuce and put on a plate so each child can choose their own salad.

  9. Heat wraps in microwave according to packet instructions

  10. Serve on a platter – fish, wraps and salad and then each child can assemble their own wrap.

** Note: This recipe has been adapted to accommodate children with allergies.  You can use cows milk mixed with egg before crumbing if desired**
